Orthodontics for a healthy smile

Orthodontics has rapidly  been evolving the recent years. Dentition and facial bone development can be thus corrected in order to improve both the functionality and aesthetics of the smile and physiognomy.

With over 20 years of experience in orthodontics, we are treating various dental and maxillary anomalies in children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment options may include: mobile or fixed appliances, invisible aligners (Invisalign).

We’re looking forward to seeing you!

Orthodontics for infants (6-9 years)

The treatment for young children is used to correct bad habits (thumb sucking, breathing through the mouth, the interposition of the tongue between teeth), to improve  chewing, to develop the dental arches and to ensure a better evolution of the facial shape during growth.

The treatment is partially refunded. The agreement of a mutuality organization is necessary before the beginning of the treatment. During your first visit, we make a complete assessment that will allow you to request this agreement.

Orthodontics for adolescents (10-15 years)

Orthodontic treatment for this age group corrects different types of anomalies of the teeth and the jaws with aesthetic or metal brackets, fixed appliances (for the teeth of the upper and / or lower jaw).

The treatment is partially refunded. The agreement of a mutuality organization is necessary before the beginning of the treatment. During your first visit, we make a complete assessment that will allow you to request this agreement.

Orthodontics for adults

The social and professional impact of a beautiful dentition is all the more reason  to start orthodontic treatment. The treatment can tighten, spread, move forward or backward the teeth, which sometimes requires surgical follow-up.

For adults, the orthodontic treatment includes brackets on the inside of the teeth and transparent aligners (Invisalign) which are the most aesthetic options.

Tips during treatment

w

Hygiene

Dental hygiene must be perfect throughout the treatment.

The dental brushing technique will be presented  on the day in which the appliance will be instaled..

It is possible to brush your teeth in the office, if you did not have the opportunity to do so before  the appointment.

Alimentation

The patient should eat soft and non-sticky food throughout the treatment period.

Baguettes, hard fruits ( such as  apples) and nuts, hard candies and toffee type confectionery (Chokotoff), tough cuts of meat or chewing gum should be avoided to ensure the braces are not damaged.
